In comparison though, with other countries such as France and Spain properties are still not expensive and remain approachable and logical.

Buying property in Crete is definitely a good investment, now. The demand will keep increasing, increasing the prices slowly, and as Greeks say, “Land never looses value!!”.

Is it a European standard life?

Greece has been a member of the E.U. the past 25 years. Our currency has been the euro since year 2001. Many changes have been made in the health system, personal insurance system, education, transport, banking, European law regulations.

In Crete there are many big hospitals, well equipped, foreign schools, airports with connections to the rest of Europe all year round, harbours that now offer a connection with Athens in only 6 hours, international insurance companies, franchise stores.
